We are Russ & Sandy
With over 200 weddings of experience, Russ brings a unique combination of skills to wedding photography. He studied art and photography at the Oklahoma Arts Institute, where his work is still featured, giving him a strong foundation in creativity and composition. His background in photojournalism taught him how to capture authentic, unscripted moments, while his time in film production and distribution refined his ability to create visually compelling narratives. Together, these experiences give Russ a distinct approach to photography—one that ensures every image feels both intentional and deeply personal.
Sandy, a UNLV alumna and lifelong artist, adds her expertise in hospitality and wedding planning to the mix. Also trained by some of the world’s most talented wedding photographers, she ensures every detail is thoughtfully captured while making the experience seamless and enjoyable for every client.

Meet Russ. Before he was my fiancé, he was my best friend. Russ is fearless, spontaneous, and unapologetically himself. He’s the guy who honks his horn and cheers for couples kissing on the sidewalk. He has this ability to make everyone around him laugh until their sides hurt. On your wedding day, If I don’t see him during the reception, it’s probably because he’s on the dance floor, breaking out his moves while somehow snapping killer photos at the same time.
Oh, and he’s not just good at everything he tries—he’s great. Russ doesn’t stop until he’s done something the absolute best way it can be done. His standards are sky-high, and it’s one of the things I admire most about him.

She’s my best friend and the one who keeps everything (including me) together. I don’t know how she does it, but I’m just grateful that she does.
